Elaborate and big ground nests always located in riverbeds seem to be a very unique behavioral characteristic of some of the chimpanzees in the Bili area. This culture of ground nesting is geographically restricted to only some populations to the north of the Uele River. And, again, thank you for your interest in the photographs of Karl Ammann and for supporting us in our conservation efforts.
